Nothing Left Unsaid
Yours Truly

Her name is Sabrina, and she is probably one of the laziest and emotionally closed off people you will ever meet. Don't judge her for it; she's a lot smarter than you can imagine and is fiercely loyal to her true friends. A new graduate who majored in law and hoping to work for legal aid find a way of helping people in any way possible. She lives to achieve success, with no plans of execution. She maintains sanity, with her natural talent of repression; fitness, with weightlifting and circuits; and cheerfulness with singing and eating frequently. She is imperfect, and will always be honest about it.

From Lights' commentary for her album 'The Listening':
'Every song taught me something new about myself, ‘cause I was forced to analyze what I was going through and resolve it in some way. Usually the last line of the chorus is a summation of that discovery, it's kinda what I learnt in that lesson. So, through all of it I realized I learned so much more about myself and about life via music-whether I was creating it or listening to it, and for me, someone who talks really fast and rambles and slurs words and fragment ideas and run on sentences, one of the greatest things I’ve learnt is how to listen and not be afraid of silence or not always speak what I have in my head because when I learn to put that into songs, I learn how to convey those things so much more efficiently'.
A truly inspirational artist. As someone who also talks too fast I can really relate. Lights, thank you for continuing to stay true to yourself and creating such wonderful music.
